Umida Irmatova was born in April 1981 in Tashkent. In 1996 she graduated from the school № 249 in Sabir Rakhimov district of Tashkent. In 2000 she graduated from the Republican Art College named after P.Benkov. In 2001 she continued her study at the Institute of Art and Design named after K.Bekhzod, the department of art criticism.
2001 - participated in the exhibition with her collection of dresses, which she created based on A.Navoi’s work “Liso-ut-tayr”.
2002 - participated in the Academia Magic Art project
2002-2003 – created a series of color works
2003 – participated in republican art exhibitions of the Art Academy of Uzbekistan
2005 – studied participated in the celebration of 14th anniversary of the independence with a series of dresses
2006 – graduated from the Institute of Art and Design named after K.Bekhzod, master’s degree
At present she actively participates in exhibitions devoted to the day of Independence and other state holidays. Umida works in Academic theatre and cinema as a production designer.
