By profession I am a philologist of the English and Arabian languages. I’ve become interested in wood since childhood. Working with wood – is my life.
My workshop is situated in the religious centre of Tashkent in the complex Hasti Imam. He makes anything from little to big things: bookends, cases for stationary, card holders, chess sets, doors, chairs, tables, terraces.

I work in national style with ancient motive elements. I use walnut for delicate works, plane and oak for big things, pine for minor works. My team of masters cooperates with jewellers and painters to make our works detailed and quality
From personal observations
The complex Hasti Imam is visited by many tourists and bookends are in high demand among other things. In the past the bookends were used only for Koran, but today it can be used for a book, picture or tablet.

There are three main compositional style groups of woodcarving: bagdadi, islimi and pargori. I work in pargori style. It is very important to me that the next generation aware of its cultural generation.
