D. Mamedova – is one of the most productive painters of modernity. Her creativity is dedicated to the picturesque nature of Uzbekistan, the favourite subject of Mamedova – is a beauty of native land, culture and its traditions. Paying tribute to a realistic genre, the painter doesn’t depart from original national customs. She can be often met with sketches at her shoulders in some old town. She chooses the places where there are still narrow streets with small cosy courtyards and mud houses. She is inspired by colour, beauty of nature. With the warmest colours she paints a picturesque nature, the way of life of the people.
She also works much in other directions such as graphics on canvas, avangard, abstraction and mosaic style. She likes experimenting and wants that on each new vernissage the spectator would feel that the painter is growing and looking for something new for her activity.
No spectator remains indifferent to the works of Mamedova. The works of talanted painter can be found in the State Museum of Art of Uzbekistan, Moscow museum “Nikor” and also in private collections of Germany, USA, Switzerland, England, Japan, Russia, Turkey, India, Australia and Israel.
